Jonas’ Workbench Design
Featured
We actually worked out the whole idea on the tiled kitchen wall with dry-erase markers, so Jonas could sit on his desk chair, knees to the wall, and describe his workbench needs. After drawing it on the wall, we measured (and rounded to nearest numbers) so I could draft a drawing/plan for the carpenter. Then we met the carpenter in a cafe and negotiated the deal Moroccan style, over tea.
THIS is what a well-loved and much used creative space looks like when school is not in session! On any given day there is a line up of projects ranging from mechatronics, to electric, to cosplay builds, to jewelry making, to Nerf mods. Look out, Adam Savage!
