Plaster cast of clay original portrait

This piece came out of about 6 hours of direct observation of a model plus an additional 3 hours of detailing and finish work, then the mold-making process, lost mold casting and clean-up. The model really had hair like this, probably extensions added, and it was wonderful to see both skin and hair in the original dark brown clay.
