Jeff’s Studio Art Bench

The purpose of this drawing was to help Faouzi, my carpenter, understand the concept of the piece. I had it in my head pretty clearly after years of shaping it in my imagination, and oddly, Faouzi did not have access to those clear images. So he had to make do with a simple drawing like this to “get it” into his head. I think he did an amazing job realizing this drawing in real wood!

The architect in me finds blueprints and drafted dimensional drawings elegant. This one shows the intended details for the side elevation view of the cabinet with shelves and wheels revealed.
